Designed to educate and inspire, BizBash Live events create in-person experiences and are attended by thousands of event professionals in major cities across the United States and Canada.
Challenge
BizBash Live Florida needed an experienced Floor Manager to come onboard on short notice and replace one of their team members onsite, at their flagship event in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
How we tackled it
Thanks to our existing relationship with the venue, general service contractor and other suppliers involved with the event, we jumped right in. BizBash had a packed agenda and no room for error.
- From attending the pre-con, to ensuring the last booth was packed-up and the show floor was clear, we assisted every step of the way. We oversaw exhibitor move-in as well as set up of the floor stage with our AV sponsor.
- We were on hand to respond to exhibitors and sponsors concerns, quickly resolving any issues arising. From last-minute booth changes to securing additional badges for vendors, we addressed every exhibitor’s needs while keeping account managers in the loop at all time.
- We ensured that entertainment and specialty acts were on stage at the right time and coordinated announcements with the DJ.
- We ran the trade show floor, monitoring every detail, and promoting excellent customer service to all event stakeholders.
Outcome
The event was a hit! We took on the responsibilities placed upon us and delivered peace of mind to our client, which enabled them to focus on other elements of the program.
It was an honor to work with an organization recognized as the industry leader for planning professionals and to contribute to the success of their live event.
Edwards Management Group became an integral part of the BizBash team and went on to collaborate on further events.
